Former CSSHL student-athlete Chase Harrington has signed his NHL Entry Level Contract with the Calgary Flames.
Harrington started his CSSHL journey with Delta Hockey Academy during the 2020-21 season with Delta Hockey Academy. The Prince George, BC native would flourish in his U15 Prep season leading his team in scoring with 50 points while averaging over a goal per game. Harrington would cap off this remarkable season with another 14 points during the 2022 CSSHL Western Championships, helping Delta Hockey Academy acquire their first U15 Prep title in the process. Following this successful season, Harrington would be selected 8th overall at the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft by the Spokane Chiefs.
Harrington would continue with Delta the following season with their U18 Prep program, posting another 37 points in 28 games. Harrington would make an immediate impact with Spokane in his rookie season but would begin to flourish in his sophomore season. Cruising up the lineup, Harrington acquired 50 points in his second season with the Chiefs en route to their WHL Championship berth in 2025. A late birthday, Harrington would have a third WHL season prior to being drafted to the NHL. After posting a career high 28 goals with Spokane, the Calgary Flames would select Harrington with their second round pick (36th overall). Harrington signed his ELC following an impactful preseason with the Flames. Soon after, he would return to Spokane where he would be named the 39th captain in franchise history.
